Pei Xin Mei, a widow with two university-educated daughters, is one of the most skilled Shenaini seamstresses. She handles special orders and develops new designs. Shenaini offers three sizes to fit various Bible and prayer book dimensions. The fabric, a beautiful Shepherd's Weave from a minority people in southwest China, is 100% cotton - tough yet soft.
